Here's this month's failure list.  Vida Blue's price list is reasonable, though I did not send a card back out for him to sign.  I'd pay that all day if he were a Hall-of-Famer though.

Will The Thrill

A six-time All-Star, Will Clark was a superstar for the Giants, Rangers, Orioles, and Cardinals.  Over 15 years in MLB, he hit .303 with 284 Home Runs and 1205 RBI.  He was named 1989 NLCS MVP after hitting .650 in the series.  Thanks, Will!

Al MacInnis

Al MacInnis had a legendary NHL career, spending 13 years with the Calgary Flames and 10 years with the St. Louis Blues.  He was one of the league's top Defensemen, and he won one Stanley Cup during his Hall-of-Fame career.  Thanks, Al!

2017 HOF Inductee Kurt Warner

Kurt Warner won a Super Bowl and played in two other Super Bowls during his Hall-of-Fame career.  A two-time NFL MVP, he threw for over 32,000 yards and 208 TDs.  He's one of the all-time great guys of the game as well, and is still very involved in charity work and reaching people for Christ.  Thanks, Kurt!

Steve Trachsel

Steve Trachsel won 143 games during his 15-year MLB career.  He played for five teams and represented the Cubs in the All-Star Game once.  He signed both cards I sent him.  Thanks, Steve!

Tony Clark

Tony Clark was a solid first baseman with power during his 15-year MLB career.  He played for six teams but is remembered most as a Tiger.  He represented Detroit in his lone All-Star appearance.  He now serves as Executive Director of the MLB Players Association.  Thanks, Tony!

Bryan Trottier

Trading Cards

I sent one of my Autograph TTM doubles (Roberto Hernandez) to Phillies reliever and avid collector Pat Neshek, and he sent me back an autographed card of himself.  Pat is awesome.  He's known as the best signer in the game today and is a huge autograph collector as well.  Thanks again, Pat!

Bert Campaneris

Bert Campaneris won three World Series, made six all-star teams, and once played all nine positions in the same game.  Over the course of his 19-year MLB career, he knocked in 646 runs and stole 649 bases.  He played for the Athletics, Rangers, Angels, and Yankees.  Thanks, Bert!

John LeClair

John LeClair is now my personal record holder for fastest response time, signing two cards for me in four days.  I believe this is my first Hockey success as well.  LeClair won a Stanley Cup and made five all-star teams during his 16-year NHL career with the Flyers, Canadiens, and Penguins.  Thanks, John!

Willie McGinest

Willie McGinest won three Super Bowls and made two Pro Bowl teams during his 15-year NFL career, which spanned twelve years in New England and three in Cleveland.  He is one of the great defensive players from the Patriots dynasty.  He signed both cards I sent him.  Thanks, Willie!

Billy Bean

Billy Bean, not to be confused with A's GM Billy Beane, had a six-year MLB playing career for three teams, racking up about a season's worth of plate appearances.  After his playing career, he came out as gay, and he's served as MLB's Ambassador for Inclusion since 2014.  He signed his 1988 Topps Rookie Card that I sent him and also wrote a short note.  Thanks, Billy!

Bill Lee

Bill Lee won 119 games during his 14-year MLB career with the Red Sox and Expos.  In his ten years with the Red Sox, he won 94 games and made one all-star team.  He's known as Spaceman, which might explain why he added "Earth" under his signature.  Thanks, Bill!

Dick Vitale

Dick Vitale coached in the NBA, but he's best known for his colorful personality and career in TV/broadcast, notably during March Madness.  He's so good at what he does, in fact, that it landed him a spot in the National Basketball Hall of Fame.  This one actually arrived right in the heart of March Madness.  He signed the card I sent and a postcard that he sent along about his podcast and website.  Awesome, baby!  Thanks, Dickie V!
