Five-time All-Star Joe Carter won two World Series and two Silver Slugger awards during his 16-year MLB career, though he is of course best-known for his World Series clinching Game 6 walk-off Home Run in 1993. Judge 'em all, but I think his signature looks best on his 1984 Donruss Rookie Card, which he signed for $5. Thanks, Joe!

Dennis Eckersley had quite a career during his 24 MLB seasons. He was a starter during the first half of his career and a closer during the second half of his career. He excelled in both roles, though four of his six All-Star nods and his Cy Young and MVP season came when he was a reliever. Part of the 1989 World Series Champion Oakland A's team, Eckersley's Hall of Fame career included 197 Wins, 390 Saves, and a 3.50 ERA. He signed his 1976 Topps Rookie Card for $10. Thanks, Dennis!

Today's mail contained two more signatures from Hall of Fame Manager Whitey Herzog, for $10 total, which is quite a reasonable price these days. Thanks again, Whitey!
