Joe Torre

This one was well worth the wait (this is the first return that took over a year--I'll edit the previous entry that called it a loss and continue doing so if there are others like this).  Joe Torre was a great player, a Hall-of-Fame Manager, and a legendary Yankee!  He's currently serving as MLB's Chief Baseball Officer.  I grew up watching his teams dominate.  I love Joe.  Thanks, paesan!

  1. What happens when you say failure? Does the card get returned to you?

  2. Yes. Except in the case where I don't get any response whatsoever in one year and call it a failure. I typically run those "timed out" lists monthly.

    1. I want to try doing this with a few rookie cards but I'm scared I won't get them returned. Griffey was one.

    2. I sent out a cheap card to Ken Griffey, Jr. back in March and haven't gotten anything back. I figured it was worth a shot, but from what I've heard, Griffey typically does not sign through the mail.
