Whitey Herzog

This one cost $5, but wow does Whitey have a great signature, especially for a man of his age.  Herzog is a Hall-of-Fame Manager and was at them helm of the Cardinals during their 1982 World Series Championship year.  He's shown here on his 1985 Topps card.  Thanks, Whitey!

    Whitey,
    Meet you once briefly at a tire shop and you were very nice to all of us around you. You let me get a picture with you that I still display today.
    It is Memorial Day and I wanted to thank you for your service.
    Could not find any other place to place this note so I hope it gets to you.
