This technically is not an ATTM success, as you probably figured out (Bobby Doerr passed away in 2017, unfortunately), but a very generous guy in the online TTM group that I'm in offered this prize to the person who guessed who his 500th TTM success would be.  My (correct) guess was Ron Kittle (speaking of which, I really ought to send to him soon).  It worked out well, as there wasn't anything else in my mailbox today.  Four Hall of Famers, one from each of the four major North American sports: Doerr, Lenny Wilkens, Ozzie Newsome, and Dick Duff.  Not a bad mail day.  Thanks, man!

Al Unser, Jr.

Al Unser, Jr. is the son of Al Unser, but a great racer himself as well.  He won the Indy 500 twice.  Thanks, Al!

Fred Lynn Blue Index Card

Not Mike Schmidt

Mike Schmidt batted .267 with 548 home runs and 1,595 RBI across 18 seasons with the Phillies.  He won a World Series, three MVP awards, and ten Gold Glove awards.  He was named to twelve All-Star teams and inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.  I don't believe he actually signed this card or the one I got back from him several years ago.  It's technically a success since it came back signed, but it appears to be a ghost-signing situation.  Honestly, if that's the case, I would rather a player didn't sign at all and either returned the card unsigned, kept it, or tossed it in the garbage.

Dave Parker
